Ah, the problems of old age.
It seems I have the Asthma.

So now I have a tubular inhaler and something called Singulair which is a pill for allergies but is used by Asthma sufferers as well. It is used mostly by singers because it is less irritating on the throat than the inhaler is.

Oh well. I am just slowly falling apart. :)

But since starting this stuff I am feeling way better.

So life continues unabated.

Ta Ta for now.

I second the 'all falling apart' bit.

Asthma's not uncommon, especially if you've had a run of lung-related illnesses. It's very much like allergies in that after an extreme situation, your body hyper-reacts to what it perceives as dangerous... by helpfully closing up the bronchial tubes. (Keep that stuff out! Oh, uh, yeah... oxygen. Forgot about that.)

Mine's triggered by extreme cold and things like running. Liam's is triggered by a developing cold, but clears up immediately once the cold is full-blown. I stopped having to use an inhaler years ago, but carry one just in case.

Yay on the feeling better since you started using the stuff, though.

I'm sorry to read this news, buddy. Hopefully it won't be too much of a hindrance.

Have had asthma since birth. Singulair is wonderful stuff. It has really helped me.
